Key Points About Ingredients:
- Dietz & Watson Buffalo Style Chicken Sausages are fully cooked and pre-seasoned with real cayenne and hot sauce, delivering authentic buffalo flavor without any deep frying.
- Maytag blue cheese is an American artisan cheese with a rich, creamy, and assertively tangy flavor that elevates a simple homemade dressing to restaurant quality.
- Celery is sliced very thinly here for maximum crunch and surface area, helping it absorb the creamy dressing and providing a classic pairing with buffalo flavors.
- Buttermilk thins the sour cream base while adding a subtle tang that mimics traditional ranch or blue cheese dressing without needing mayonnaise.
- Chives add a mild onion-like freshness that brightens the rich, heavy dressing and provide a pop of color as a garnish.

- Celery is extremely low in calories and provides a good source of vitamin K and potassium, adding nutritional value without extra fat or sugar.
- Blue cheese contributes a meaningful amount of calcium per serving, supporting bone health in this otherwise savory dish.
- The optional cayenne pepper contains capsaicin, which research suggests may have mild metabolism-boosting properties.
