2 cups jasmine rice

2 cups chicken stock

1 ½ cups water

4 tablespoons butter, divided, or more to taste

2 large eggs, beaten

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3 tablespoons sesame seeds, or to taste

2 tablespoons soy sauce (such as Kikkoman®), or to taste

⅛ teaspoon salt

⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

Place rice, chicken stock, and water in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until tender and liquid has been absorbed, 15 to 20 minutes.
